“Any individual or wedding business entity with a focus on wedding planning may apply for membership. At its sole discretion, AACWP may deny membership, except it will not deny membership based on race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, age, sex, sexual preference, marital status or handicap.” AACWP bylaws, published 2007

AACWP has 3 types of members.

Membership Benefits

Having an industry association on your resume says you are committed to your profession and actively participating in its advancement.
Any member may participate in any meeting except if the meeting is designated for wedding planners only; serve on any committee excluding the nominating committee and hold office within the association. Any member may hold office within the Association as long as there are five TWP, CWP, or CMWP planners on the Board of Directors. With Board approval, any member may serve on a committee.
Members will be listed on the AACWP website and have rights to use the approved AACWP logo on their stationery and company website.
While all members receive the membership rates to attend the Vendi Awards, only wedding planners may vote on the categories. All members may attend sponsored events at the membership rate and will be offered early registration priority.
