Get Involved with AACWP in 2017!
It's that time of year again! 2017 is nearly here, and the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners will need talented, hands-on volunteers to contribute to our board-led committees. Committee members are a huge part of our success at AACWP and being part of a committee is a great opportunity to get more involved with the organization.
If you're an AACWP member and you have interest in being a part of any of these committees, please save the date to attend an afternoon workshop meeting on January 12, 2017. Additional details will be announced soon. Current committee members are encouraged to attend!

- Review educational materials
- Develop new material
Communications Committee
- Engage with AACWP social media channels
- Draft blog posts
- Spread information about AACWP events
Vendor Relations
- Help with planning and executing the Vendi awards
- Recruit vendors for membership events
- Serve as back-up for chair at membership meetings if needed
Meetings and Events
- Plan and execute Celebrate
- Serve as back-up for chair at membership meetings if needed
Membership
- Help with registration at events
- Reviewing applications and mentorships
Education
- Help to brainstorm with topics and source speakers
- Research speakers
- Serve as in-person liaison at membership meetings
- Help plan and execute Educate
