We're excited to announce that registration is now open for our AACWP members only Calligraphy & Lettering education class on October 18th from 6:30p-8:30p at The Laurel in Grapevine, Texas. To register, members should log in to the membership portal.
The Topic
Beautiful penmanship is all the rage in the wedding industry right now! Social media is buzzing with unique invitations, signs, wedding gifts and everything else gorgeously hand-lettered and customized for our couples. When our clients are looking for this service, we need to know how to educate them properly and direct them to the right resources. Art by Ellie is going to get us on the right track so we can expertly guide our clients. Here's what you can expect from this presentation:

- How to spot calligraphers vs. letterers vs. designers vs. novices
- How to decipher what type of lettering style works for your bride and her budget
- What to look for in a calligrapher, letterer, designer/stationer for your bride

Brittni Royer at Art by Ellie handles a little bit of everything, from assisting with in-house photo shoots and social media, to teaching watercolor and calligraphy classes.
Art by Ellie is a graphic design firm specializing in custom wedding invitations and modern calligraphy, and has been serving brides worldwide from here in North Texas for over seven years.
