Teacher Feature: Laura Hendricks

About Laura Hendricks
Laura has been in the wedding industry since 2011. She discovered her passion for planning during her college years, through involvement in sorority recruitment and the Student Government Association. Laura graduated from Texas Tech majoring in Health and Sports Sciences.
After graduation and an internship at McKinney-based planning agency, Laura continued her education by receiving her Wedding Specialist Certification from Weddings Beautiful Worldwide and completing the AACWP training course. She began working for Weddings by StarDust in 2013.
Today, Laura manages a staff of 5 planners and assistants, overseeing the planning and execution of all weddings.
When she’s not planning weddings, Laura is very involved as a sorority alumna and is passionate about fitness, nutrition and traveling internationally. She is an active member of AACWP (CWP) and the Society of Wedding Professionals (SWP). She resides in Oak Cliff with her Rottweiler, Pippa.
